Midterm 1: Th 03/07, in class, 25%
Covers: Basic Counting Techniques, Sample Spaces, Probability Function, Spaces with Equally Likely Outcomes, Conditional Probability, Bayes' Formula.
Midterm 2: Th 04/11, in class, 25%
Covers: Independent Events, Conditional Independence and Total Probability Formula; Discrete and Continuous Random Variables: Discrete Uniform, Geometric, Bernoulli, Binomial, Poisson, Continuous Uniform, Triangular, Normal; Expected Value, Variance, Standard Deviation.
Final Exam: Th 05/16, 1:00PM-03:15PM, in classroom, 40%
Spring 2019 Final Exam Schedule
Covers: Everything covered by Midterms 1 and 2 and, in addition, Exponential Distribution, Joint and Marginal Distributions, Independent Random Variables, Conditional Distributions, Functions of Random Variables, Covariance, Transformations of Several Random Variables, Chebyshev's Inequality, Law of Large Numbers, Central Limit Theorem.
